Paul Brook is a Barrister with more than 20 years experience of advising in and conducting commercial chancery cases. Trained in London, Paul joined chancery chambers before moving to the North East in 1989. He is an Accredited Mediator and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Paul joined Parklane Plowden Chambers in April 2008 and, whilst based in Leeds, he undertakes work from Chambers’ offices in both Leeds and Newcastle.

Paul has a depth of knowledge and expertise in the following areas of law:

• Directors’ duties and the rights of shareholders;
• Commercial contracts;
• Property law, including business and agricultural tenancies;
• Professional negligence of solicitors, surveyors, accountants, financial advisers and insurance brokers;
