Paul's main areas of practice include:
Companies, shareholders and directors;
Property and agriculture;
Commercial disputes;
Emergency injunctions and remedies;
Negligence of professional advisers.

Having practised exclusively at the Commercial Chancery Bar for 20 years, Paul Brook has established a substantial reputation for his work both as an adviser and an advocate.

In addition to claims involving commercial contracts, Paul has been instructed in many cases involving the management and control of businesses. These range from disputes between the directors or shareholders of companies to the breakdown of partnerships.

Paul also has a particular interest in property disputes affecting commercial and agricultural businesses. He has experience of claims concerning the ownership of land and rights affecting the use of land as well as in the context of agricultural and business tenancies.

Paul’s practice often involves consideration of the overlap between business and property disputes and the effect of corporate or personal insolvency.

Paul Brook will accept instructions under the Bar Council’s Licensed Access Scheme and is accredited to accept instructions, in suitable cases, under the Public Access rules.
